Construction Site Heating: How to Choose a Construction Heater

A construction heater inquiry can start with a short list of model codes and the fields you need confirmed. This guide organizes listed output, fuel, supply, dimensions and controls into a comparison for that inquiry. Bring your project requirements to the review alongside the model sheets.
Record the construction project questions
What work area is being reviewed? Who will approve the heating plan? What material instructions, operating hours and site requirements should accompany the inquiry? Record these as buyer requirements and ask for model-specific answers. Keep the proposed application separate from the catalog figures in your purchasing notes.
Compare controls by model
The diesel models in the table list continuous spark ignition and a thermostat. ZB-G60A lists electronic ignition and a thermostat. ZB-G35T lists adjustable output of 12–30 kW; its control instructions are On request. What controls does your site reviewer require, and which manual pages document them?
Ask about the site plan
Has the site reviewer checked the model manual against the proposed placement, ventilation and electrical arrangements? What instructions apply to the materials being worked on? Request a written review of these questions rather than turning a rated heating volume into a construction-site recommendation.
Listed model-field comparison
Use the table to record the entries published for each named model. Copy a value with its unit and qualifier. Fields marked On request need confirmation for that code. Keep output settings, fuel consumption, heating volume / area and supply entries in their own rows when preparing a comparison.
| Model | Heat output | Fuel | Power supply | Fuel tank / cylinder | Fuel consumption | Heating volume / area | Airflow | Ignition / control | Product size | Net / gross weight |

| ZB-K350 | 100 kW | Kerosene, diesel | 220V / 50Hz | 70 L | 9.8 L/h | 2,000 m³ | On request | Continuous spark ignition; thermostat | 1310 × 500 × 750 mm | 52 / 56.5 kg |
| ZB-G35T | 12–30 kW (adjustable) | LPG / propane | 220V / 50Hz | On request | 0.86–2.16 kg/h | On request | 440–600 m³/h | On request | 480 × 225 × 343 mm | 5.9 / 6.8 kg |
| ZB-G60A | 40,000–60,000 BTU | LPG / propane | 110V / 60Hz | On request | 0.83–1.25 kg/h | 234–352 m³ | 500 m³/h | Electronic ignition; thermostat | 486 × 198 × 335 mm | 5.6 / 6.6 kg |
| ZB-EC15 | 85 W / 7,000 W / 15 kW (three settings) | On request | 380V / 50Hz | On request | On request | 300 m³ | 1,292 m³/h | On request | 645 × 484 × 697 mm | 20.1 / 21.5 kg |
Questions for the shortlisted models
ZB-H100
The fuel row names kerosene and diesel. Which one are you requesting? Ask for the corresponding fuel-grade and filling instructions in the manual. If your quotation needs a runtime entry, request a documented figure for this model. What conditions accompany it, and which operating instructions should your reviewer check?
ZB-K175
Which supply version should your inquiry name? The record lists two voltage / frequency entries. Ask for the version you want and the connection instructions that accompany it. For the continuous spark ignition and thermostat entries, which manual pages explain the controls? Include any outstanding control questions with this model code.
ZB-K350
The heating entry uses a volume unit. What rating conditions accompany that figure? Ask your reviewer what project information to send with the model code. Keep any proposed application as a question in the inquiry. Which placement, ventilation and clearance instructions must be checked in the model manual before completing your selection?
ZB-G35T
The regulator pressure is a separate field from output and airflow. Which regulator and connection details should accompany the offer? Ask for the supplied-component list for this code. Cylinder, ignition and protective-device details need their own questions where unlisted. What instructions should your site reviewer receive with the model sheet?
ZB-G60A
Electronic ignition and a thermostat are listed for this model. Which instructions explain those controls, and what inspection information does the manual provide? Ask about the fuel-system components included in the proposed order. Which cylinder and connection details remain unanswered? Keep those questions beside this code when requesting the quotation.
ZB-EC15
Read the heat row exactly as printed, including its separate entries. Which entry do you need explained in the model documentation? Ask for the control and supply instructions rather than rewriting the row as a single setting. What information does your electrical reviewer need before the requested version is placed on the purchase specification?
Build the quotation worksheet
Make one column for each exact model code. Start with the values in the comparison table, then add a column for supplier answers. Keep the quotation quantity, requested documentation and delivery details together. When a required entry is On request, name that field in the inquiry so the answer can be placed beside the correct model.
You can ask for the output entry as printed, the voltage and frequency, the listed fuel and the dimensions. If several settings appear in the heat row, copy the full row. Don't turn a fuel-consumption range into a runtime entry. Ask for the conditions associated with each figure and any missing operating information in the manual.
Buyer confirmation checklist
- Have you identified the model code in every request for a missing field?
- Which voltage and frequency should be confirmed on the quotation?
- Have you preserved the units for output, consumption, airflow and heating volume / area?
- What rating conditions does the supplier document for the proposed model?
- Which fuel grades, supplied components and connection details does the manual specify?
- What installation, ventilation, clearance and inspection instructions must be reviewed?
- Who will approve the proposed application and operating arrangement?
- Which dimensions, weights, package entries and loading figures need order-specific confirmation?

Questions to close before ordering
What should accompany the model code?
Send the quantity, the listed fields you are comparing and the entries that need confirmation. Include the project requirements you want reviewed and ask for the model sheet and manual with the supplier's answer.
How should missing fields be recorded?
Leave them On request. Don't copy a value from a neighboring model. Ask for an answer for the exact code and keep the supplied units and qualifiers when updating the worksheet.
Can a rating settle the installation questions?
Ask for the conditions accompanying the rating and the installation instructions for the proposed model. You'll need those documents in the review of your intended application; keep them with the specification request and the site reviewer's questions.
Official references
For general reference reading, review the agency documents below. Which parts apply to the proposed equipment and site? Ask the responsible reviewer to check their scope alongside the exact model manual. These references provide general context; ZOBO model values are the listed fields in the comparison above.
